CAMERAS & PHOTO GEAR I RELY ON, USE DAILY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
SONY ALPHA A7IV CAMERA
The Sony A7iv is a powerful and worthy successor to the groundbreaking and industry-changing Sony a7iii, which I’ve been shooting with for the past 3 years. The a7iv is a hybrid shooter’s dream come true, excelling equally at photography and video.
SONY ALPHA A7SIII CAMERA
My go-to for most video projects, the Sony A7siii is phenomenal for video. Yes, in a pinch I've admittedly used it for photography as well, but this camera was truly designed for shooting video, and at that, it is one of the best cameras currently available.
SONY ALPHA FX3 CAMERA
Don’t let the small size of the Sony FX3 fool you, this camera is a BEAST of a camera. More capable than cameras three times its size, the FX3 is amazingly versatile, offering many advantages of traditional mirrorless cameras. And that video quality…
SONY ALPHA A7III CAMERA
The camera that made me switch Sony. Having shot Nikon and Canon for over 20 years, I made the switch to Sony three years ago, and couldn’t be happier. The Sony a7iii, even by today’s standards, is one heck of a little camera. Always have one in my camera bag!
SONY 70-200 F2.8 G MASTER LENS
This is a special lens, perfect for sporting events, portraits and more. The bokeh is perfect, the autofocus is the fastest I’ve ever used, by any brand. Tack sharp through its entire focal range, this lens has earned a permanent place in my bag no matter what the project.
SONY 16-35 f2.8 G Master Lens
I love the Sony 16-35. It truly does it all. I’d say that 90% of all my work utilizes this lens in some way. Edge-to-edge sharpness is excellent, regardless of focal length, and bokeh it produces is top quality. I haven’t seen such quality in any other wide-angle zoom.
DJI AIR 2S DRONE
Definitely my go-to drone for travel, this bad boy folds up and fits comfortably in a camera bag. Light, small fully featured with Flight Modes and programmable routing, this drone is just about perfect. Now, if I could just learn to avoid those trees and powerlines.. =)
DJI PHANTOM 4 PRO DRONE
Big, bulky to travel with, and loud - the Phantom 4 is one monster of a drone. The video footage and still photographs it produces are of the highest quality. Flight planning and built-in Intelligent Flight Modes are very well done. Best gimbal camera I’ve used.
DJI RS2
Like the Ronin S before it, the RS2 is a powerhouse of a gimbal. Strong and incredibly well made, the DJI RS2 gives me buttery smooth footage for video projects. This gimbal is advanced, has programmable motions, and provides creative camera movement.
