I’M RYAN VELTING, A MICHIGAN-BASED CONTENT CREATOR, COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHER, AND FILMMAKER. I’VE SHOT PROFESSIONALLY FOR OVER 20 YEARS, AND TRULY LOVE WHAT I DO.
I’ve loved photography and filmmaking since I first picked up a camera in the mid-’80s, an old manual film camera - a gift from my grandfather. I love to create, and I’ve never wanted to do anything else. Extremely passionate about what I do, I go to great lengths to give my clients more than they expect.
While I’m based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I travel often, frequently shooting in Chicago, Boston, and New York City as well as various locations overseas.
Most of my video production work is done through my commercial photography and film production company Epic Film, with offices in Grand Rapids and Rockford, Michigan.
My family and I are active in our community and are very involved with local charities such as Mel Trotter Ministries and myTeam Triumph, from serving on the board to working in the kitchen. I strongly believe in investing in young artists and serve as a mentor to several up-and-coming photographers.
When I’m not running around camera in hand, I enjoy time mountain biking, hunting and fishing, and spending time with my wife, kids, and two crazy dogs in Rockford, where my family calls home.
