Project Overview
I pulled double-duty this year while out on the course for Michigan Titanium. I photographed myTeam Triumph’s teams of Captains and Angels, and also my wife’s full-distance triathlon.
My wife is an endurance athlete and competes in a lot of races every year. A lot of these races are as an “Angel” through an organization called myTeam Triumph. Read more about myTeam Triumph here.
Every so often, she races on her own, for herself. This years’ Michigan Titanium was one of those races. She competed in the ultra-distance triathlon. The distances for the triathlon are: Swim - 2.4 miles, Bike - 112 miles, Run - 26.2 Miles.
Her ability amazes me, and I’m grateful to be along for the ride - and along to photograph the events she competes in.
