Project Overview
I’ve been friends with Johnny Agar and his amazing family for years. Johnny wrote a book - The Impossible Mile - about growing up with cerebral palsy, being told he’d never walk, then beating all odds and competing in Ironman Triathlons. Truly awe-inspiring.
Johnny is an inspiration. As Michael Phelps ( yes, THAT Michael Phelps ) wrote of Johnny - "Johnny Agar is a true inspiration as a person and an athlete. Where most might see nothing but obstacles, he sees nothing but opportunities. While I’ve had the opportunity to photograph Johnny on many occasions, this project was a bit different, celebrating the publishing of his book.
